August 1991
In 1991 Orlyk took a triumphal tour of the Ukraine, performing in Lviv, Striy, Drohobych, Morsyn, Boryslav, Ivano-Frankivsk, Ternopil & Kyiv. The unforgettable highlight occurred in Boryslav – in mid-concert, on the 24th August, Ukraine declared its independence from the USSR.
December 1991
Orlyk were also happy to give their services in aid of ‘Children In Need’ and for the Lord Mayor of London as the Royal Albert Hall for the ‘Lord Mayor’s Extravaganza’.
1993
In 1993 Orlyk had a very successful tour of Biarritz in the South of France.
1994
In 1994 Orlyk travelled to the festival in Cobh, Ireland. In October of the same year they performed in Sligo, Ireland along with the choir ‘Khreshtatyk’ from Ukraine. Both groups earned many plaudits from the International audience
1998
In 1998 Orlyk continued the promulgation of the art of Ukrainian folk dance at a festival in Vittoria, Spain
